LIFE IN CREDIT-SUISSEUnknowingly, its been 9 mths working in Credit Suisse.
The people are great, & I am getting the hang of handling the various duties.
Basically, the jobscope is all abt corporate finance & the quantity of various kind of events shocked me big time as I nv ever came across them in my course of studies. Relatively, I got to comprehend how traders think (well, having to withstand their temper too) so I guess its still a fruitful experience after all.
Just shifted from the fixed income team (cash div/coupons) to voluntary corp actions (i.e deadlines & all for events like put options/converisons)
Oh man. Its a whole lot of big diff. The volume is lesser, but the stress was terrible.
Like seriously, a much more long way to go.
Had the annual yr end Credit Suisse party @ zouk ard Nov 07? That was a crazy night as well. Complaints (we have to admit that the food was terrible), drinking (they were quite niao on the free flows), crapping, & fooling ard.
All in except my AVP & 2 Supervisors. Hmm.
